I would give you a very simple outline of how to come to Jesus.

I call it – “The Roman Road”

Romans 3:23       The Need of Salvation 

                                    “For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.”

Romans 6:23       The Gift of God  

                                    “The wages of sin is death, but the Gift of God is eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Romans 10:9-10  The Way of Salvation    

                                    “If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Pray a simple prayer like this:

“Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for loving me so much that you died on the cross to pay the price of my sin. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I ask you to forgive me. Right now, as a repentant sinner, I receive the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart and life, to forgive my sins and to give me the gift of Eternal Life. Thank you for hearing my prayers.

I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour. Help me to love and to know that you are with me always. Thank you Lord Jesus Amen.”
